The Taoist Tai Chi Society offers an eight-week introductory class for people who have no previous experience with Tai Chi. The gentle movements of Taoist Tai Chi work to reduce stress, to promote balance and to increase flexibility. The movements are described as gentle, continuous, and circular. They are taught step by step in a specific series so it is important to get in at the start of a class. Classes are taught by a nationally certified instructor. The first 17 moves of 108 moves serve as an introduction to the art form of Tai Chi.
